Isle of Arrows is a fresh take on tower defense that injects a board-game–style puzzle into every run. Instead of choosing freely from a tech tree, you draw tiles at random—towers, roads, buildings, flags and more—and place them on an ever-expanding island before each wave of enemies. That blend of tactical tile placement and classic tower defense action gives Isle of Arrows a tense, “what-can-I-make-work-this-round?” feel that’s both challenging and highly replayable.
How it plays
Each turn you reveal a new tile. If it’s not useful, you can spend coins to discard it, but coins are precious, so you’ll often find clever ways to squeeze value out of unexpected draws. Roads define enemy paths, archery towers pick off threats, gardens generate coins, taverns buff nearby archers and flags open up fresh land. When you’re satisfied with your layout, you unleash the next wave and watch the defenses go to work. Between rounds you may gain bonus cards or relics, triggering upgrades, extra resources or one-time buffs that can turn the tide.
